I’d like to take a moment to talk about a an anime series that I think many would enjoy. It’s called Isekai no Sekishi Monogatari (very roughly translated to Tale of the Holy Knight from an Alternate World ) This OVA spin-off of the expansive universe of Tenchi Muyo! tells the story of Masaki Kenshi, a boy who is forced to work as a servant in a high class academy until he is able to find a way back to his own world. If you haven’t guessed already he is in fact a blood relative to the main protagonist of Tenchi Muyo!, Masaki Tenchi. Naturally the vast majority of the students are female and are very interested in him and his abilities as a knight as well as his other “abilities.”
The series is currently being streamed online as well as being released on DVD and BluRay in Japan. Each episode is roughly 45 minutes and a new episode is released monthly. Unfortunately there isn’t any release date for American shores, but fansubbers have been quick to fill the void, most recently a group called [Zettai Ryo-Ohki Fansubs] have taken up the cause. They don’t have any website but have opted to list this site as their main area of reference. But they do have a temporary irc channel on #manga_daisuki@irchighway.net. Don’t know where their new site and channel will be located, but I’m sure we’ll post it and everyone will find it out, sooner or later.

Yay Finally some one picket this series up bin waiting and following the Raws so far and completely love the series sadly I only able to Translate some what what they are saying sob sob so thx guys for Doing this series and I Think it wasn’t really LQ MQ Ratter so No complains there I think from any fans..

i have a brother who lived in japan for a few years and he has been translating the series for me. so because of that we know what has been going on, but it gets tiresome having to stop the episode every so often have my brother translate it for me.

Thanks so much to the people subbing this! I’m an old school tenchi fan so this series has been a treat to watch. I was having the audio desync a lot while watching, but all and all it was a good job for your first sub. I hear matrosa files are kind of tricky so no shame should be felt for some minor glitches.
kaze: hey! Just wanted to let you know we released a LQ version of the anime specifically for people like you. The reason the audio/video desyncs is because your watching the 1080p matroska version with stereo and 5.1 audio tracks. Unless you have a really good computer, your probably going to struggle playing the video. Get our LQ xvid .avi version on torrent our in IRC.

Just wanted to say thanks and went and voted for you guys at http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=6304. Gave you a 9 thought episode four was an improvement over three. The opening karaoke didn’t quite seem right but I skip that most times anyways.
Also to coyote this group hasn’t done one and two yet that I know of but Sora and Zone-anime have. I am not sure if there has been any comment to plan to go back, or just go onto next episode.

For those who had some audio problems if u use VLC player it runs perfectly. I was having audio problems when i ran it in WMP as well. But yeah if u use player it works fine.
The only reason you would have audio problems is because your computer sucks and is most likely from <2001.

Yo guys! We’ll be redoing episodes 1 and 2 in due time. Also, we’ll be redoing episode 03! Lastly, episodes 4+ will also have 1080p versions and LQ xvid versions for people whose computer’s aren’t quite up to spec. We’re trying to get our own site set up since we can’t keep using this post but, it takes time considering school just started for me and I’m basically typesett/timer/editor. So we’ll see. Please give us a little more time for episode 05 just because school just started for us. Again, we have the translations! We’re not dropping it! In fact, timing has already started! one last thing, I hate to ask but if people can be kind and help donate to the cause, that’d be great. Each episode costs me $50 because we don’t have a dedicated translator and we pay for the translations. If you’re a dedicated and good Japanese translator then PLEASE PLEASE help us out lol. I’m not too gung ho about having to pay a translator $50 a pop per episode!

It is people like you that think fansubbers owe you something that make fansubbing depressing and cause a lot of people involved to lose their motivation and give up.
If you want to ask for an episode I think it can be done but wait longer. The Blue ray version has only come out 6 days ago and it isn’t something that anyone can do. So lets be glad that somebody is subbing this great anime. I know I’m going to buy it when it comes out. (japanese voice with english subs.) But till then i will be glad to wait for the subs. And what does it matter if this one comes later. The last one of the serie only comes out on blue-ray in about 8 or 9 months.

It has been 17 days since Dango inquired about the group still subbing, and nothing has been posted. I hope that they are still subbing as they were the only group subbing Iseikai no Seikishi Monogatari. Please let us know if you all are still subbing or not. I am not sure how they sub these but if you notice the last three have always come out at the beginning of the month.
This series is a monthly series and they do seem to be a few behind the raws. But otherwise there pace is exactly the way it would be if they were all caught up.
So probably check for number eight first week of january. That is just an educated/wishful guess, if any of the group even checks this board anymore thank you.
